Howard Chaykin brings his signature noir sensibility to the penultimate chapter of this Image series, and the cover says it all — a scarred man in a leather jacket raises a pistol while astride a rumbling motorcycle, its headlight blazing against a sepia city-map backdrop that gives the whole image a brooding, street-level menace. Chaykin's linework is sharp and purposeful, with Jesus Aburtov's colors lending a moody warmth that keeps the tension coiled tight.
