Image Comics' 2003 revival of Micronauts delivers a kinetic cover bursting with sci-fi energy. A muscular male hero surges forward unleashing a brilliant green energy blast, flanked by a red-haired female warrior and an armored robotic companion, while a menacing black beast with glowing red eyes looms large in the background and additional armored figures streak across the foreground. Steve Kurth's pencils and Barbara Schulz's inks give the whole ensemble a sharp, dynamic charge that captures the team-versus-threat spirit of the series at full tilt.
