The Micronauts gather for what the cover boldly declares will be "An Ending!" — and Michael Golden's painted composition makes the weight of that promise feel deeply real. A blonde woman and a bearded man in a blue uniform hold each other at center, surrounded by their teammates: a powerfully built orange figure, a caped red-helmeted warrior, a grey robotic form, and a green alien, all assembled against a star-filled void above what appears to be debris-strewn wreckage. With Peter B. Gillis and Kelley Jones steering the series in 1984, this final chapter of "Homeworld" promises an emotional reckoning for one of Marvel's most inventive cosmic teams.
