Micronauts #58

The cover of this 1984 Marvel series says it all — the word "Triumphant" blazes across the top as Commander Arcturus Rann strides forward in his blue-and-gold suit, arms spread wide through a shattered barrier, with teammates including a blonde female warrior, a green insectoid figure, and an orange humanoid standing ready behind him. Butch Guice's cover art (both pencils and inks) gives the whole ensemble a confident, hard-won energy, with a masked villain's severed head displayed in the upper corner adding a striking note of victory. It's a vivid snapshot of the Micronauts at a defining moment, and "The Long and Winding Road!" promises a story worthy of that triumphant image.
