Mickey Mouse #1
In "Mr. Slicker and the Egg Robbers," Floyd Gottfredson crafts a clever tale of deception and redemption, as the charming but crooked Mr. Slicker woos Minnie while secretly targeting her family farm. When Mickey, heartbroken and misled, nearly gives in to despair, a shocking frame-up forces him to join forces with Butch to uncover the truth. With art by Floyd Gottfredson and inks by Earl Duvall, this 1931 classic captures the early days of Mickey’s world with charm and wit.
