Metamorpho: Year One #2

Part two of DC's "Year One" retelling of Metamorpho's origins finds the Element Man in a precarious spot — literally trapped inside the glowing green Orb of Ra, held in the enormous hands of a cold-eyed, shadowy antagonist who dominates the cover with an air of menace. Kevin Nowlan's cover art is striking, contrasting the eerie electric-blue atmosphere against that vivid green orb where a diminutive Metamorpho crouches, seemingly powerless. With Jurgens and Delperdang handling the interior, "Treasure Quest Part II" looks like a tense chapter for one of DC's most visually distinctive heroes.
