Ted McKeever's Meta4 closes out its five-issue run with this arresting cover — a bald, intensely focused man dominates the right side while a handgun rendered in loose, expressive washes of red and pink commands the left, the whole composition stamped with a circular "100% Guarantee" seal that feels equal parts sardonic and sincere. McKeever's ink-and-wash style, handled entirely by his own hand from pencils to letters, gives the image a raw, painterly tension that's hard to look away from. "Hobo Sapiens" promises the same off-kilter vision that's defined this series from Image.
