The sixth volume of Meta-Baron arrives in 2019 with "De naamloze techno-baron," a Dutch-language chapter in Alexandro Jodorowsky and Jerry Frissen's sweeping science-fiction saga, illustrated in full by Valentin Sécher. Sécher's cover is a brooding, atmospheric composition bathed in deep reds and shadows, where a young figure in a striking red-and-black suit stands at the center of a gathered assembly of armored, cybernetically augmented warriors — a scene that radiates tension and ceremony in equal measure. With writing from Jodorowsky, Frissen, and Christophe Deconinck alongside Sécher's richly painted visuals, this installment promises the grand, darkly operatic tone the Meta-Baron universe does so well.
