Jerry Frissen, born Thierry Frissen on June 2, 1964, in Brussels, is an American comic book writer and toy designer based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his work on the anthology series *Lucha Libre* and *The Zombies That Ate the World*, the latter illustrated by Guy Davis. Frissen also wrote *The Metabarons*, collaborating with artists Valentin Secher, Niko Henrichon, and Esad Ribic. His career in comics began after a background in toy design, and his writing often blends pulp adventure with dark humor. Frissen has been credited as a writer and letterer on 43 issues from 2008 to 2023, with notable titles including *Meta-Baron*, *Méta-Baron*, *Simak*, *Z comme zombies*, and *Métal Hurlant*.
