In "The Case of the Extra Nazi Prisoner," violinist John Wallace is thrust into a deadly mystery when he tries to protect an aging violin maker whose secret varnish formula can replicate Stradivari's legendary instruments. After being stabbed with a violin bow and revived by the maker using the mysterious "Pipes of Peace," Wallace takes up the mantle of the Music Master to avenge his mentor’s death. Art by Bill Everett brings the eerie, music-driven suspense to life, while Alex Schomburg’s cover captures the haunting tone of the story.
