Mega Marvel #5/1995
In "Fienden inom honom Del ett," San Francisco is overrun by tiny demons erupting from underground, and as chaos spreads, candidate Charles Palentine seizes control of the city. Venom and Morbius are forced into the abandoned Alcatraz prison, where they uncover a hidden journal written by a prisoner named Charlie Palene—once a man who sealed away the demons with a magical amulet. The journal reveals a shocking link to the new mayor, and as the duo confronts the truth, a mysterious figure known as Demogoblin emerges to lead the demons, taking the amulet and seemingly destroying them. Written by Bruce Jones and Ola Jameson, with art by Bob McLeod and inks by McLeod and Harry Candelario, the issue features a cover by Bob McLeod.
In the shadowed streets of San Francisco, a sudden tide of small demons erupts from the earth, plunging the city into chaos. As candidate Charles Palentine seizes power in the crisis, Venom and Morbius are forced into the abandoned Alcatraz, where they uncover a hidden journal revealing that the city’s new leader once imprisoned the very demons now rising—using a magical amulet. When the true mastermind behind the invasion emerges in the form of Demogoblin, the line between hunter and hunted blurs in a battle for control of the city’s fate.
In "Venom och en man kallad Mace, Kapitel ett: Hårda träffar," Venom protects a hidden underground community of homeless people in San Francisco, but when a group of surface dwellers hires the mysterious superninja Mace to attack them, a tense standoff erupts. Though their paths briefly align against the larger threat of the Sunrise Society, Mace soon departs, leaving Venom to confront those within his own sanctuary who have turned violent and sought to manipulate him.
