In "Palce na cynglu," the X-Men face a crisis as Professor Xavier battles a deadly techno-organic virus, pushing the team to the edge. With Scott and Jean captured, Mr. Sinister makes a dangerous trade, unleashing a chain of events that awakens the ancient Apocalypse. Cable arrives from the future, only to be branded a killer in the present—accused of shooting Xavier. As the X-Men and X-Factor pursue X-Force, they soon realize the hunters have become the hunted, and the mutant world teeters on the brink of chaos.

In "Uderza grom!", X-Force clashes with a fractured X-Men and X-Factor before surrendering, while the remaining X-Men battle the Horsemen in a desperate race to reach Mr. Sinister. With Jean and Scott held captive by Stryfe and Cable preparing for a final confrontation, the fate of the team hangs in the balance.

In "Znajomy refren," the X-Men split in two: one half hunts Cable and Stryfe across Canada, while the other faces the terrifying might of Apocalypse. When Cable crosses paths with Wolverine and Bishop at the secretive Department K, the trio must navigate a web of betrayal and danger—each with their own reasons to distrust the others.
