Mega Man #11

Part three of "The Return of Doctor Wily" arrives in this 2012 Archie Comics series, with Mega Man charging forward — Mega Buster blazing — as a crowd of Robot Masters swarms around him, including the golden-helmeted Zero-like figure looming at his back and several smaller mechanical foes closing in from all sides. Ben Bates's cover crackles with kinetic energy, capturing the sense of our blue hero outnumbered but absolutely undaunted. Ian Flynn's ongoing saga is firing on all cylinders here, and this issue makes a compelling case for why Archie's take on Capcom's beloved robot hero earned its devoted readership.
