The cover of this BOOM! Studios series captures a wonderful sense of scale and wonder: a young boy in a green uniform tumbles joyfully through the air, a red backpack floating nearby, all cast in the enormous shadow of an unseen mech looming above him — with even a small turtle making an appearance in the corner. Takeshi Miyazawa's linework brings a light, energetic charm to the image, perfectly complementing Tríona Farrell's warm, dusty color palette. Greg Pak's sci-fi adventure about a kid and his giant robot looks like exactly the kind of heartfelt story this 2017 series promises to deliver.
