The cover by Stephen DeStefano and Karl Kesel pulls off a genuinely charming visual gag: 'Mazing Man's oversized yellow helmet-head fills the frame as he holds up a copy of this very comic, which itself shows him holding another copy — an infinite regression of grinning, goggle-eyed self-awareness. Perched atop his helmet is a tiny figure, adding one more layer of cheerful absurdity to the whole scene. This 48-page 1990 special from Bob Rozakis and Stephen DeStefano also boasts contributions from a guest lineup that includes Todd McFarlane and several other talents, making it a wonderfully packed package for fans of DC's most lovably odd neighborhood hero.
