In "Letzter Streich," Max and Moritz pull one last prank on a farmer, slicing open his grain sacks just as he lifts them—only to be outwitted when he traps them in a hopper and grinds them into meal for ducks. The town celebrates the prank's ironic end, as the boys’ mischief backfires in the most literal way.
