This October 1948 Fawcett anthology puts Captain Marvel Jr. front and center in a wonderfully kinetic cover by Kurt Schaffenberger — the blue-suited "World's Mightiest Boy" rides a bucking horse mid-air, red-caped and grinning, as the animal bucks so hard a cowboy hat flies free. The cover teases "Ride 'Em Cowboy," promising a meet-up between Captain Marvel Jr. and the World's Mightiest Horse, and the lineup doesn't stop there — Nyoka, Tom Mix (whose portrait graces the masthead), and Bulletman are also along for the ride.
