“The Panther Man's Trap”

In "The Panther Man's Trap," Tom Mix is summoned by Matt Collinge to investigate a baffling theft: gold dust vanishes mid-transport to the essayer's office, despite tight security. When Tom arrives, he interrupts a mob led by Zeke Ezzard, who are about to hang Lewis, the stagecoach driver, as the culprit. With the stagecoach still intact and the gold missing, Tom takes charge, determined to uncover the real thief before another delivery is lost. Art by Carl Pfeufer brings the dusty Western tension to life, while Kurt Schaffenberger’s cover captures the high-stakes drama in vivid detail.
