This December 1950 Fawcett anthology packs a full 52 pages of color adventure, with Captain Marvel Jr. front and center on Kurt Schaffenberger's cover, visibly shaken as a massive, shadowy fingerless hand looms threateningly out of the darkness toward him — a genuinely unsettling image for a ten-cent comic. Beyond the lead story pitting the blue-caped hero against the mysterious "Man Without Fingerprints," the issue also promises adventures featuring Nyoka, Ozzie, and Tom Mix (whose portrait appears in a medallion at the top of the cover), making this a satisfying grab-bag of Fawcett's diverse stable of characters.
