Master Comics #117 brings a genuinely clever visual twist from Fawcett in 1950, with Kurt Schaffenberger's cover depicting Captain Marvel Jr. bursting clean through a picture frame to deliver a solid punch to a startled crook — a perfect visual pun tied to the "Art Gallery Theft" story promised inside. Schaffenberger's clean linework gives the young hero real energy and presence as he crashes out of what looks like a stolen painting mid-fight.
