Masakazu Katsura's Shadow Lady Special #[nn]
In "Another World," Masakazu Katsura crafts a heartfelt slice of alternate-reality adventure where shy schoolgirl Aimi gains confidence through a magical eye shadow that transforms her into the daring Shadow Lady. With art and inks by Katsura himself, the story blends whimsy and quiet emotion as Aimi’s alter ego teases her classmate Bright Honda—only to find her experiment in self-assurance complicating things when he can’t tell the real her from the masked hero. Cover by Masakazu Katsura.

In another reality, young Aimi is shy and self conscious at school, especially as she is so bad at sports. To make her feel better, her grandmother gives her some magic eye shadow that transforms her into Shadow Lady, allowing her to fly around the city and gain some confidence. Shadow Lady has fun torturing fellow student (and self-proclaimed crime fighter), Bright Honda, swearing she will steal his heart. After they work together to take down a mad bomber, Aimi finds that her plan worked too well as Bright only has eyes for Shadow Lady (and just as the magic make up has run out).
