Masakazu Katsura's Shadow Lady #7
In "Makeup," Masakazu Katsura’s Shadow Lady #7, Aimi confronts the power of appearance when she realizes her transformation as Shadow Lady begins with makeup—leading her to steal cosmetics for a bold new start. With Katsura both writing and illustrating, and Tomoko Saito handling the letters, the issue blends personal revelation with the series’ signature surreal edge, as Aimi’s choices ripple into unexpected moments of self-discovery. The cover by Katsura captures the tension between identity and transformation, a fitting frame for a story where change begins not on the surface, but beneath it.
