When Mary Batson's graduation celebration is interrupted by an attack from the criminal duo Dr. Riddle and the Weeper's Son, she transforms into Mary Marvel to help her friend Susan Kent—secretly the flying crime-fighter Bulletgirl. Trapped together in a suffocating padded cell by the cunning villains, the two must use their wits to decode Dr. Riddle's cryptic riddles and stop his next sinister scheme before it's too late. With danger closing in and clues hidden in wordplay, Mary Marvel and Bulletgirl race to outwit two of the city's most vicious criminals.
