High above a suburban rooftop, Mary Marvel soars with arms outstretched in her red-and-yellow costume, radiating pure joy — while a comically startled woman in a blue dress clings to a broomstick just below her, hat askew and cherries flying. Jack Binder's cover for this October 1947 Fawcett issue captures a wonderfully lighthearted energy, teasing the "Aunt Agatha's Adventures" feature spotlighted in the cover blurb alongside "the world's Mightiest Girl." With Otto Binder and Jack Binder both on hand for the interior story "The Dog-Nappers," this is a charming slice of postwar comics at their most fun.
