“A ship of rage cuts across the stars, carrying a man betrayed.”

In "A Ship of Rage Cuts Across the Stars, Carrying a Man Betrayed," the Zombie Universe’s Giant-Man saga reaches a fever pitch as the Hulk—returned from exile with the Warbound of Sakaar—launches a brutal assault on Atilan, only to fall victim to the zombie Inhumans. The aftermath sees the Hulk transformed into a ravenous zombie, turning his path toward Earth and unleashing his infection on the Sentry. Written by Seth Grahame-Smith and illustrated by Richard Elson, with colors by Matt Milla and letters by Simon Bowland, this 2009 issue delivers relentless momentum and grim stakes. The cover, by Arthur Suydam, captures the haunting, star-crossed dread of the story’s central figure.
