Peach Momoko's cover for this 2024 anthology issue is quietly unsettling — a wide-eyed child peers out from behind elongated, dripping fingers that form the face of a massive, blood-streaked skull, while a shambling horde of grayscale zombies crowds the background. The stark black-and-white palette, punctuated only by vivid crimson, gives the whole image a haunting storybook quality that's wholly Momoko's own. Inside, she also writes and fully illustrates "Juju and the Gift of the Insect Bead," making this issue a singular creative vision from cover to final page.
