Against a blazing yellow sky, Howard the Duck and a heavily armed human companion blast their way through a shambling horde of undead on this Arthur Suydam cover — the duck wielding twin pistols with surprising swagger, his ally unleashing a multi-barreled weapon into the rotting crowd below. Suydam's painted style gives the whole scene a pulpy, grindhouse energy that feels right at home in the Marvel Zombies universe. This 2011 collection is a satisfying showcase for one of Marvel's most gleefully irreverent horror series.
