This collection continues the undead saga as the zombie-infected heroes of Earth-2149 spread their hunger across the cosmos. Following the events of the original series, the surviving zombie heroes—including a now-cannibalistic Silver Surfer and Galactus—devour entire planets, while the few uninfected heroes like the Black Panther and Forge struggle to find a cure. The story expands the horror to a cosmic scale, featuring appearances by Thanos, the Eternals, and the Watcher, as the line between monster and hero blurs completely.
