Marvel Two-in-One #86
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeEven the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing needs a night off, and this 1982 issue captures that perfectly — the cover by Ron Wilson and Chic Stone drops Ben Grimm smack in the middle of a cozy neighborhood bar alongside the Sandman, both seemingly content to kick back with a cold one while a heavyset bartender quips, "Wouldya believe it's Miller Time?" It's a disarmingly lighthearted scene, complete with beer signs, a bottle of Ron and Chic wine on the table, and a winking Impossible Man medallion at the bottom promising his return within the pages. Tom DeFalco and Ron Wilson team up on "Time Runs Like Sand!" for what looks to be one of the more charmingly offbeat pairings in the Marvel Two-in-One run.
