Marvel Two-in-One #76
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe Ringmaster takes center stage on this June 1981 cover — resplendent in purple and green, he commands the scene while the Thing hurtles through a cannon blast, Iceman surges forward in icy form, and guest-star Giant-Man looms large alongside what appear to be Circus of Crime performers. Jerry Bingham's pencils (inked by Joe Sinnott) pack the composition with kinetic energy, promising a three-ring showdown between Marvel's roughest rock-pile and his X-Men ally against one of the most theatrical villain troupes in the Marvel universe. "The Big Top Bandits" looks like exactly the kind of colorful, action-packed team-up that made Marvel Two-in-One such a reliably fun corner of 1981's Marvel lineup.
