Marvel Two-in-One #74

What a delightfully bizarre holiday treat — Marvel Two-in-One #74 teams the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing with the Puppet Master for a "Special X-Mas Issue!" that's anything but cozy. The cover by Frank Springer throws Ben Grimm headlong into a chaotic toy-store nightmare, brawling against an animated polar bear, a menacing clown, marching tin soldiers, a lion, and a stampede of oversized playthings, while the Puppet Master himself lies sprawled at the bottom looking worse for wear. It's a wonderfully off-kilter 1981 holiday mashup from writer Mark Gruenwald that proves even Christmas can get rocky when the Thing is involved.
