With news of Namor’s approach to New York, the brothers decide to take matters into their own hands, launching a reckless pursuit in the U-Car—only to find the Sub-Mariner waiting, seemingly aware of their arrival. After a tense clash ends with Namor departing, wounded by what he sees as betrayal, Reed and Sue arrive to find the peace talks already in ruins. The confrontation leaves Namor furious, vowing their next battle won’t end with a draw.
