Marvel Superheroes [Marvel Super-Heroes] #369
In "The End... and Beginning!", the X-Men face off against Sauron, only to see him escape without a clear link to Dr. Karl Lykos—though the truth lies just beneath the surface. As the team visits Lykos, they witness a fragile reunion between him and Tanya, only to retreat from a tense family confrontation. When Lykos reverts to Sauron, draining Lorna’s energy, the fallout forces him to confront his past at their old mountain cabin, where a desperate choice leads to a shocking fall. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Neal Adams with inks by Tom Palmer, this pivotal issue features a cover by Dave Cockrum and Terry Austin.
