Marvel Super Action #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel Super Action #2 (July 1977) reprints the Stan Lee and Jack Kirby story "When Wakes the Sleeper!" — and the cover by Kirby and inker Syd Shores captures the tension beautifully. Captain America charges forward with his shield raised, flanked by an ally in the background, while a menacing red-faced creature looms at lower left and a darkly cloaked figure fires a weapon at close range from the right. It's a snapshot of Cap caught on multiple fronts at once, making this an appealing addition to any collection of 1977 Marvel action comics.
