Captain America charges forward, fist raised and shield gleaming, while an impressive assembly of Marvel heroes — including Black Panther, Iron Man, Thor, Wasp, and others — surges behind him on this 1977 premiere issue. Jack Kirby's pencils, inked by Syd Shores and Joe Sinnott, give the lineup a bold, kinetic energy that makes the "Big Premiere Issue!" banner feel well-earned. With Stan Lee and Kirby also credited on the interior story "This Monster Unmasked!", this is a fine showcase for the star-spangled Avenger and the Marvel bullpen at work.
