Marvel Select Flip Magazine #23
In "Torn Part Five," the X-Men and New X-Men face a renewed threat as Reverend Stryker resurfaces, reigniting his crusade against mutants. With powers lost on M-Day and tensions rising, Wolverine brings X-23 to the mansion, introducing her as his cloned "sister"—a move that sparks immediate friction, especially from Emma, though Cyclops allows her to stay. David leads the students into the Morlock tunnels, where he’s built a Danger Cave, using archived X-Men missions to train both powered and powerless students. Written by Chris Yost and Craig Kyle, with dynamic art by Mark Brooks and inks by Jaime Mendoza and Jay Leisten, this issue features a cover by John Cassaday and Mark Brooks.

The X-Men and New X-Men learn that Reverend Stryker is back and spreading his anti-mutant message to the world. The kids at Xavier's squabble and try to figure things out as some of their closest friends and allies lost their powers on M-Day. Wolverine brings X-23 to the mansion and introduces her to the others as his cloned "sister." Emma violently objects to her presence but Cyclops lets her stay. David takes the kids to the Morlock tunnels where he has constructed a Danger Cave and the students, both those with powers and those without, begin to train by running through old X-Men missions.
