Marvel Milestone Edition: The Incredible Hulk #1 #1
A 1991 Marvel Milestone Edition brings back the classic origins of the Hulk in "The Coming of the Hulk, Part 1," a pivotal tale written by Stan Lee and illustrated with powerhouse energy by Jack Kirby, with inks by Paul Reinman, colors by Stan Goldberg, and letters by Artie Simek. When the Gargoyle captures the Hulk and Rick Jones, whisking them behind the Iron Curtain, a desperate plea for help leads to an unexpected alliance—one that challenges the very nature of transformation and humanity. The cover, a dynamic collaboration by Kirby in both pencils and inks, captures the raw intensity of the moment.
