Marvel Knights Spider-Man #21

Part eight of twelve in "The Other: Evolve or Die" brings one of the most unsettling images in this 2006 Marvel Knights run — a massive, dark organic cocoon hanging suspended, with a small human figure barely visible within its dripping folds. Mike Wieringo's pencils and Karl Kesel's inks render the transformation imagery in haunting detail, all deep shadow and biological menace. Written by J. Michael Straczynski with art by Pat Lee, this chapter promises something profoundly strange is stirring inside that chrysalis.
