In "Wonder Man: Morte alla Deriva," the fate of the Kree Empire hangs in the balance when Lilandra tasks the Starjammers with transporting a massive Nega-Portal—unbeknownst to them, a colossal Nega-Bomb. When Corsair refuses and departs in anger, the rest of the team agrees, only for Wonder Man and Vision to intervene, realizing the true danger. After a tense confrontation, they manage to jettison the bomb, but too late—both are left stranded, adrift in space with the wreckage of their mission.
