“Untitled”

In "Untitled," Spider-Man and Sophia share a quiet moment in a tree house, their conversation interrupted by a nervous squirrel warning of an unseen watcher. When Spider-Man investigates, he mistakes the X-Men for mob enforcers—especially after suspecting Wolverine—and a clash ensues, only to discover they’ve been monitoring him because they believe he’s a mutant. The truth takes a surprising turn when Sophia reveals she’s the one with powers, leaving Peter stunned and unsure of what comes next. Written by Paul Tobin and illustrated by Ben Dewey, with inks by Terry Pallot and colors by SotoColor, this 2010 issue features a cover by Skottie Young.

Spider-Man and Sophia meet in a tree house to discuss their relationship and Peter's secret identity. A squirrel tells Sophia that someone outside is watching them. Convinced that it’s someone from the Torino mob, Spider-Man tracks them down and beats up on them. Peter thinks Wolverine is the Torino hit man and begins a fight. Joined by the rest of the X-Men, Spider-Man learns that they believed he was a mutant and that is why they have been watching him. They realize that Sophia must be the mutant and she confirms the fact. Sophia tells Spider-Man she has no idea who he is under the mask.
