Marshal Bass rides into dangerous territory with issue #10, "Hell Paso," the latest chapter in this gritty Western series from Splitter Verlag. The cover by Igor Kordey is a striking image: a dark-haired man in frontier clothing stands defiantly beside a cannon under a brooding, storm-lit sky, ropes trailing from his wrists as if he's only just broken free. Writers Darko Macan and Harald Sachse, paired with Kordey's richly painted artwork, have built one of the more compelling Western comics in recent memory — and this 2025 installment looks ready to deliver more of the same intensity.
