Having seen Mandy on T.V., Mrs. Carrick tells Cyril where to find Mandy. Mark has no choice but to let Cyril take her. As they are leaving, Mandy pleads to Mark to stop him from taking her and Cyril grabs her roughly. Mark sees red at Cyril's treatment of Mandy and punches him. But all this was playing out in front of reporters and cameramen who now believe there is a romance between Mark and Mandy.
