“I Could Have Danced All Night!”

In "I Could Have Danced All Night!", Mark finds himself caught in a moment that spirals beyond his control when Cyril, spurred by a TV appearance, takes Mandy against her will. As Cyril drags her away, Mandy pleads for Mark to intervene—and when he does, the sudden clash is captured by reporters and cameras, turning a private moment into a public spectacle. Written by Derek Long and illustrated by A. E. Allen, this 1959 issue from Amalgamated Press captures a charged, pivotal scene with emotional weight and quiet tension, all rendered in the distinctive style of Allen’s pencils and inks.
