1986. Margot quits Prairie Dog, Texas for New York to pursue acting. Landing in the Bronx ("Badtown"), she's hassled by scumbags and grifters, but fights back. When a wrecking crew trashes her apartment, their boss hires Margot to keep "the boys" working. But a feud boils between developers trying to drive out tenants and profit from condos. Her old beau Henry Starr shows up and joins in. Margot loves and sleeps with all of them. She tries to protect helpless tenants and improve apartments, but finally quits to start her own wrecking service. Continued in "Margot, Queen of the Night".
