Peter David's Maestro series reaches its fourth movement with a cover by Dale Keown that pulls no punches: the grey-bearded, green-skinned Maestro and a gold-armored warrior — recognizable as Hercules — clash face-to-face amid an explosion of shattered concrete, each gripping the other in a struggle that looks anything but friendly. It's a raw, kinetic image that captures the raw power both figures bring to the table, rendered with Keown's characteristically muscular linework.
