Maestro #3

Peter David's post-apocalyptic saga rolls into its third chapter with a cover by Dale Keown that puts the tension front and center: the hulking, white-bearded Maestro has an aged Rick Jones pinned by the throat against a wall, a skeleton looming ominously in the background alongside the wreckage of a destroyed Iron Man armor. The tagline promises a reunion with "an old friend," though from the look of sheer fury on Maestro's face, "friend" may be a generous word for what's unfolding here. Germán Peralta handles interior art on this "Adagio" chapter, and with a creative team this sharp, the slower tempo the title promises is bound to hit hard.
