Peter David brings Jamie Madrox — the Multiple Man — into the gritty Marvel Knights corner of the Marvel universe with this noir-tinged opener subtitled "Soul of a Gumshoe." David Lloyd's cover sets the mood perfectly: a silhouetted figure caught in the glare of oncoming headlights against a desaturated cityscape, while bold crimson slashes split the composition with a sharp, unsettling energy.
