Mad #484
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMad #484 takes holiday satire to the dinner table in the most chaotic way possible, with cover artist Richard Williams painting a Norman Rockwell-style Thanksgiving scene gone gloriously wrong — a horrified grandmother carrying a roasted turkey looks on as caricatures of Lindsay, Nicole, Britney, and Paris wreak havoc across the holiday spread, drinking from bottles, spilling food, and smoking with complete indifference. The corner banner promises a take on The Colbert Report, and Alfred E. Neuman watches over the mayhem from his usual perch in the logo. For a December 2007 issue, it's a pitch-perfect send-up of the era's tabloid obsessions dressed up in wholesome holiday trappings.
