Neuman — grinning gap-toothed in a "I'm With Stupid" t-shirt, arrow pointing right — alongside a portrait-perfect caricature of President George W. Bush, both posed in front of a billowing American flag. The headline "We Stand By Our President!" adds the perfect deadpan twist to the visual gag. It's MAD doing what MAD does best: wrapping a sharp political jab in a warm, almost wholesome package.
