The collaboration between writer Alejandro Jodorowsky and artist François Boucq opens with "De onzichtbare kathedraal" — and Boucq's cover sets a breathtaking tone immediately. A lone figure tumbles weightlessly through a vast, cathedral-like space, surrounded by soaring gothic arches bathed in shimmering teal light, white birds in flight, and coiling serpentine forms lurking below. It's a striking visual promise of the surreal and the sublime, rendered entirely by Boucq's own pencils, inks, and colors in 2019.
