Spike is trying to become the head of "Man's Best Friend Society" and promises to protect people at all times and not have anything to do with cats. He then finds Tyke playing with a cute little kitten and makes him promise to stop. When the kitten finds out what is going on he dresses up like a baby to get Tyke to play with him. When Tyke sees through the disguise and smacks him Spike thinks he is hitting a baby. Snowball runs away so that Spike won't see through the disguise and ends up in a pond. Spike saves him but the disguise comes off and the other dogs don't want anything to do with him because he saved a cat. An adult sees him save the kitten and makes him the honorary president of the pussycat protective association instead.
